AVEX –Two-component fungicide without analogues in Europe with protective and curative action,for control of downy mildew caused by Plasmopara viticola in grapevines and Phytophthora infestans in potatoes and tomatoes.

Mode of action:

AVEXis a with protective and curative properties. It is a combination of two active ingredients with completely different modes of action. Cymoxanil is a fungicide with local systemic, curative, and translaminar activity that stops mycelium growth and inhibits fungal sporulation. Copper is a preventive, contact fungicide/bactericide with a multisude mode of action.

Application:

  • Potatoes– For late blight (Phytophthora infestans) control at a rate of 2 kg/ha. Applications should start preventively or at the first symptoms, in growth stages from 10 leaves to leaf yellowing (BBCH 20-90).
  • Tomatoes– For late blight (Phytophthora infestans) control at a rate of 2 kg/ha. Applications should start preventively or at the first symptoms, in growth stages from 9 leaves up to harvest (BBCH 19-89).
  • Grapevines– For downy mildew (Plasmopara viticola) control at a rate of 2 kg/ha. Applications should start preventively or at the first symptoms, in growth stages from 5-6 leaves until 21 days before harvest (BBCH 15-85).

Water consumption:

  • Potatoes: 300-500 L/ha
  • Tomatoes: 300-500 L/ha
  • Grapevines: 500-1200 L/ha

Maximum number of applications per year (in the same area):

  • Potatoes and tomatoes: Up to 5 times (with a minimum interval of 7 days)
  • Grapevines: Up to 4 times (with a minimum interval of 7 days)

Application Method:

Foliar spraying with manual or mechanized ground equipment.

Mixing compatibility: AVEX can be mixed well with commercially available insecticides and fungicides, except for products with an acidic pH (pH<6.5).

Pre-harvest interval (PHI):

  • Grapevines and potatoes:21 days
  • Tomatoes:3 days

Re-entry interval:

Until the treated area is completely dried
