Mode of Action:

BRAZDAis a selective systemic (translocating) herbicide from the sulfonylurea group. It acts by inhibiting amino acid biosynthesis, which leads to the cessation of cell division and weed growth.

Application:

  • Wheat:15-25 g/ha with the addition of 0.05% Trend-90 surfactant, from the third-leaf stage of the crop to the formation of the second node (BBCH growth stages 13-32). Up to 6 leaves stage of the weeds.
  • Sunflower:30 g/ha when the crop is in the 2-8 leaf stage (BBCH growth stages 12-18).

Water Consumption:

200-400 L/ha

Application Method:

Foliar application using backpack or tractor-mounted sprayers.

Mixing Compatibility:

Can be mixed with herbicides based on 2,4-D and fluroxypyr, enhancing efficacy against broadleaf weeds resistant to hormone-based herbicides in cereal crops.

Pre-harvest Interval (PHI):

Ensured by the timing of application.

Re-entry Interval:

Until the treated area is completely dried (24 hours).
